Heistad bil

Heistad Bil & Caravan AS was established in 1985 by Jan Ludvigsen, focusing on sales of Viking and Tabbert caravans as well as servicing. Prior to that, he had operated the Caltex petrol station in Heistad since 1964. In 1999, the company expanded its portfolio by introducing Hymer motorhomes under the management of Jan's son, Lars Ludvigsen. In November 2021, Heistad Bil & Caravan AS was acquired by Tellus Caravan & Fritid AS. Following the bankruptcy of Tellus in December 2024, the Ludvigsen family took the initiative to re-establish the business under its original name. Today, the company is managed by Lars Ludvigsen's sons, Jan Thomas and Lars Martin Ludvigsen, representing the third generation in the family business. They continue the family tradition of providing quality products and services within caravans and motorhomes.
